About the Program

Information technology involves the selection, creation, application, integration and administration of computing and communication technologies to meet user needs in an organizational and societal context.

The program prepares you to enter the workplace as an IT professional and grow into leadership positions or pursue research or graduate studies in the IT field.

 The Data Management and Analytics track equips students with the skills to efficiently manage, analyze, and interpret large datasets, preparing them for careers in data-driven decision-making and business intelligence.

*ENGL 102 and any major requirements must be completed with a C (2.0) or higher. *Core 1 Towson Seminar requirement is waived for all transfer students. *Core 9 Advanced Writing Seminar requirement must be completed at Towson University. *Core 14 will be satisfied by upper-level coursework at TU. *Students may transfer a maximum of 64 credits to Towson University.
