About the Program

Information Systems (IS) focuses on solving organization and enterprise needs by integrating key aspects such as people, processes, and policies into comprehensive applied technical solutions, which are often related to decision making, coordination, control, analysis, or data visualization.

This program is a great fit if you like technology and enjoy working with people. Graduates of the Information Systems major are prepared for in-demand careers with a highly marketable combination of technical, organization, and behavioral skills. The Data Analytics track prepares students in fundamental concepts, techniques and tools of data analytics, focusing on real life experience in analyzing data from various domains, solving problems and making decisions based on data.

*ENGL 102 and any major requirements must be completed with a C (2.0) or higher. *Core 1 Towson Seminar requirement is waived for all transfer students. *Core 9 Advanced Writing Seminar requirement must be completed at Towson University. *Core 14 will be satisfied by upper-level coursework at TU. *Students may transfer a maximum of 64 credits to Towson University.
