About the Program

 
 Computer science majors at Towson University develop specialized knowledge and skills highly valued by employers. The curriculum is both focused and flexible, with options that will prepare you for careers in government, business, industry and education, or further study in graduate school. Coursework emphasizes solid theoretical foundations and the latest technological developments. The B.S. in Computer Science and the B.S. in Computer Science with Cyber Operations track are accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET.

*ENGL 102 and any major requirements must be completed with a C (2.0) or higher. *Core 1 Towson Seminar requirement is waived for all transfer students. *Core 9 Advanced Writing Seminar requirement must be completed at Towson University. *Core 14 Ethical Issues and Perspectives will be satisfied with upper level coursework. *Students may transfer a maximum of 64 credits to Towson University.
